Electricians donning pink hard hats in support of breast cancer awareness

October 20, 2009

Seventy pink hard hats can be seen out and about on the heads of electrical workers in Portland this month. October is breast cancer awareness month and Dynaelectric workers are wearing pink hard hats all month to commemorate and support colleagues, family and friends who have been affected by the disease. The pink hats, displaying "Protect Yourself Get Screened Today" on them, are taking Dynaelectric's awareness month efforts to a new level this year in addition to asking for employee donations and having employees participate in Row for the Cure. The pink hats can be seen at many project sites including the Portland International Airport and Portland Shriners Hospital. (See attached pictures)

Already this month, Dynaelectric employees have donated over $1500 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure. Dynaelectric, a NECA member and signatory to IBEW Local 48, specializes in a variety of electrical services and innovative electrical solutions. The company is proud to take part in supporting a great cause.
